Whether you are looking for a short break to learn off road motorbike skills, or you want to refresh your skills with some challenging and exciting off road tours among stunning scenery, or you want a longer holiday to take your off road motorbike skills to the next level then we have exactly what you need. And if we don't then we will create it for you as that is the type of company we are.

Located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains Berja, Almeria. It does seem to me, that ALL trails in Spain are the same, Almeria for instance is more desert than the Malaga region, therefore a lot more sand and dust.

Bulgaria is much more like the UK with fields, mud, grass, forests, mountains, ( well not many mountains in UK I grant you ) rivers, streams etc. If you really want something different to Spain then we really are the Company for you. The summer temperatures in Bulgaria are equal to or exceed those in Spain in the summer. It is now 5th August 2008 and the summer temperature is 36 Degrees; however the heat is not as oppressive as that in Spain, because of the forests, mountains, general terrain that helps to make the day more comfortable, for instance when you ride through the forests you are covered by the trees canopy, so out of the heat.

Road to Offroad Specialists

Did you ride off road as a child? Have you never ridden off-road but always wanted to give it a go? Well now is the time to do it. Here at the Long Way Round we specialise in training people who have never ridden off road. Why you might ask? A great deal of our customers are born again bikers aged between 40 and 60 and want to learn how to ride off road or green laneing, laning. We can teach riders like this techniques and tips that would take you months sometimes even years to learn on your own.

How Do We Do It?

We start the first day off by going through the bikes with you in detail. We'll give you the do's and don'ts of the mountain and give you a couple of handy tips before we start. You will have two guides on motorcycles with you at ALL times, one leading and the other acting as a 'sweeper', and both guides are in contact with each other at all times via helmet radios. If that’s not enough we also run a 'stalker' this is a third member of the team in a 4x4 which carries spares parts, tools, water etc. He will meet up with us from time to time, this is because if we have any problems i.e. a blowout, blow out we can just change the wheel instead of having to do a tube change in the middle of nowhere. We also like to get some goods picture’s as the groups ride by.
